He is survived by: his daughter Robyn; his son-in-law David Simpson of Prospect; his daughters, Debbie Sloan of Lexington, S. C. and Susan Towler of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Daniel Simpson of Prospect, Jacqueline Simpson of Prospect, Kristen Sloan of New Orleans, Jonathan Sloan of Ashville, NC and Katie Sloan of Conway, SC; his great grandchild Destyn Doeing of Conway, SC.; his sister Bette Wright of Northern, VA; and his pet Precious. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery (7655 County Line Rd, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923).
