He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Katherine Trimble Wilson and George Nelson Wilson Jr.; his sister Elizabeth Ann Wilson; and his wife Martha. He is survived by: his children, Mary Katherine Smith of Warrenton, Hannah Wilson Smith of Roanoke, Virginia., George Nelson Wilson IV (Terri Atkins Wilson) of Farmville and Victoria Wilson Najjar (Dilan); his grandchild Artemis Gayle Najjar of Staunton, Virginia; and his sons, Zachary Atkins Wilson of Farmville, Virginia and Nicholas Hart Wilson (Elaine Marie Wilson) of Chesterfield, Virginia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:15 PM at the Westview Cemetery.
