He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Banko and Maria Banko (Timar); his wife Margaret Slayton Banko; and his son Ronald E. Banko. He is survived by: his children, Loren L. Banko and Lydia M. McEvers of Glen Burnie, MD; his stepdaughters, Jeanette Slayton Johnstone (Kin) of Farmville, VA and Rebecca Slayton of Stamford, CT; and his stepgrandchildren, Margaret Johnstone of Miami, FL and John Johnstone of Farmville, VA.. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
