He is survived by: his wife Janice Thompson Fariss of Farmville; his children, Amy Bowman (Danny) of Farmville, Todd Fariss (Jody) of Farmville and Gavin Fariss (Jessica) of Farmville; his grandsons, Jeffrey Fariss of Farmville and Nicholas Fariss of Farmville; and his siblings, Peggy Emert of Prospect, Vicky Oakes of Rice, Tommy Martin of Farmville and Linda Stamat of North Carolina.
