She was predeceased by: her former husband Walter Penick; her parents, Anthony DiVito and Doris DiVito; her sister Lisa Facemire; and her niece Emma DiVito.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Basham of Virginia Beach; her son Kevin; her daughter-in-law Tanya Penick of Gretna; her daughter Joanna Penick of Richmond; her stepsons, Brian and Brandon Basham; her brothers, Darrell and Gary DiVito; and also, Kelly, Hailey Truitt and Josh Ansley.
