He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Evans (Bower) and Moffatt Sr. Evans; his brother Samuel B. Evans; his sister-in-law Tonette Veech; and his nephew Christopher Veech.

He is survived by: his daughters, Erika and Erin; his wife Janet Erickson; and his siblings, Helen Enfiedjian (Abraham) and Michael Evans (Susan). He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, a number of great nieces and nephews and many friends.
