He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wayne Doolittle and Mary Baker Doolittle; his wife Gertie Hill Doolittle; his daughter Susan Ann Angelus; and his siblings, Lois Doolittle Cook and Robert Doolittle.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Doolittle (Lea Doolittle) of Denver, NC and Dave Doolittle (Judy Bacher) of Cambridge, MA; his children-in-law, Allen Angelus of Hagerstown, MD and Kitty Coleman Doolittle of Springfield, MA; his grandchildren, Christine Doolittle Powell (Nick Powell) of Savannah, GA, Rebecca Doolittle Adams (David Adams) of Lowell, MA, Brian Doolittle (Jennifer Flaningam Doolittle) of Charlotte, NC, Thomas Doolittle of Atlanta, GA, Adam Doolittle of New York, NY and Daniel Doolittle of Ocracoke Island, NC; and his great grandchildren, Jessica, Grace, Emmaline Adams of Lowell, MA, Braden and Owen Powell of Savannah, GA..
