She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Brown and Pauline Brown; her brother James R. Brown; and her brother-in-law Hank Daniel. She is survived by: her husband Joe H. Bunn; her sister Claudine Daniel; her children, Kim (Allen Robinson), Brian (Beth Bunn), Brett (Jennifer Bunn) and Joel (Amy Bunn); her grandchildren, Austin Bunn (Lauren), Jon Robinson (Katie), Kymbre Robinson (Andrew Simmons), Emily Bunn, Erin Bunn, Vivian Bunn, Ephraim Bunn, Gavin Bunn and Markus Bunn; her great grandchild Wesley Bunn; and her sister-in-law Joyce Bunn.
In lieu of flowers, individuals are encouraged to donate to youth organizations that share her passions including agriculture/gardening, education/children's literacy, Scouting, and philanthropy. Donations may also be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.
