It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lura Maxine Jones of Fancy Gap, Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berton Whittington and Bertie Smith Whittington; her husband Millard Coolidge Jones; her son Randall Eugene Jones; and her brothers, Darrell Whittington and Joseph "Jody" Whittington.
She is survived by: her children, Dorian Evander Jones (Van), Karen Lee Wilkerson (Chuck), Roland Keith Jones (Melissa) and Karla Glynis Jones; her brother Berton Whittington; her sister-in-law Anita; her sister Geraldine Renee Pack; and her brother-in-law David. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
