She was predeceased by: her husband Jay Armil Botschen; her daughters, Laural Leigh Botschen and Robin Etta Botschen-Holzheimer; her brother Richard Hawks; and her parents, Fred Hawks and Gussie Hawks.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Lu (Betty) and Sharon Smart (Ben); her grandchildren, Hilary, Giselle (Jonathan), Zoe, Thor (Cynthia), Nola, Benjamin and Roosevelt; her siblings, JoAnn Blow (Bob), Don Hawks and Morris Hawks; her great grandchildren, Sonny, Gabe, Nino and Jack; her nephew Steve Blow (Jen); and her niece Susan Strandberg (Brent).
