She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Walden and Minnie Hill Stockner of Iowa; her husband Charles Preston; and her siblings, Wayne Stockner and Sylvia Stevens.
She is survived by: her brother Gerald Stockner of Hillsville; and her sister-in-law Nancy Stockner of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
