With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gracie Smith Edmonds of Fancy Gap, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gracie Smith left this world on November 19, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Smith and Arlie G. Lowe Smith; her husband James "Ed" Edmonds; her siblings, Annie Ruth Smith and Barnard Smith; and her children, Darlene Lundy (Treaver) and Kenny Edmonds (Dudley Parcell).
She is survived by: her daughter Debra; her son-in-law Mike Frazier of Fancy Gap; her son Michael Edmonds of Woodlawn; her grandsons, Stephen (Erica Frazier) of Galax and Brandon (Ame Frazier) of Woodlawn; and her close friends, Debbie Black, Brenda Furman, Roxane Brown and Kristie Ross.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel (1035 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the Forest Oak Cemetery.
