He is survived by: his wife Betty Webb Meredith; his children, Janet Meredith Bohlken (John Henry) of Greensboro and David Meredith of Independence, Virginia; and his siblings, Kenneth Meredith (Veronica Meredith) of Fancy Gap, Virginia and Reva Faye Shepherd (Ronald Shepherd) of Florida.
