She is survived by: her mother Lois Edwards Rippey of Galax; her children, Amanda Kelly Smith of Burlington and Jason Scott Smith of Fancy Gap, Virginia; her siblings, Fonda Lunsford, Julia Bowers and Benji of Galax, Virginia; her sister-in-law Jackie Rippey of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Logan Alexzander Page and Ayden Cole Oliver.
