He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicie Lucile Vincell Sparks and William Burke Sparks, Sr.; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Robert W. Wiles, Thomas Wiles, Barbara Hemlick, Laura Dye, Elizabeth Sparks and Carol Harrold.
He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Smith of Folkston, GA and Stella Jane Walker of Grandin, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
