He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Bennett and Maggie Brooks Bennett; the mother of his children Betty Bennett Cundiff; his siblings, Opal Bennett Young, Odell Bennett and John Roscoe Bennett; and also Anna Laura Young Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Nikki Bennett Wagner of Princeton, WV, Sandy Bennett Stephenson (Scott) of Falls Mills, VA and Keith Allen Bennett (Tammy) of Falls Mills, VA; his grandchildren, Amber Wagner Williams (Charlie) of Falls Mills, VA, Chad Allen Bennett (Heather) of Johnson City, TN and Jaime Bennett Bowman (Zach) of Rocky Gap, VA; and his great grandchildren, Colyn Pennington, Dawson Pennington, Noah Gardner, Kadance Bowman and Maggie Bowman.
