He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Poe and Ann N. Poe (Helton); his siblings, John and Barbara Ann; and his great-grandparents, Blake B, Netta Poe (Lamie), Howard and Elsie Helton (Sparks).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Alex (Tara Sparks) and Jessie (Tabbi Neal); and his sister-in-law Kathy Sarver (Donna).
