He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lee and Katherine Gross Nipper; his wife Shirley Ann Bishop; his brothers, Roy and David Nipper; and his grandson Jordan Michael Nipper.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Nipper of Falls Mills, VA, Troy Nipper (Frankie Vanessa Brewster) of Lovingston, VA, Chris Nipper (Kim) of Bluefield, VA and Gary Nipper (Necole) of Bluefield, VA; his siblings, Dinnie Nipper (Janice), Larry Nipper (Margaret) of Tazewell, VA, Margaret Kidd of Bluefield, WV, Pauline Clower of Statesville, NC, Sue Brooks of Bluefield, VA and Sherry Finley (Carl) of Bluefield, WV; his grandchildren, Cory Nipper, Amy Bradberry, Samantha Nipper, Preston Nipper, Carter Nipper and Zachary Nipper; and his great grandchildren, Madalyn Shrader and Raylan Blevins.
