He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Honore and Justilla Roberts Honore; his former wife Lois Elliot Honore of New Berlin, IL; his mother-in-law Joan Bell Cox of Reston, VA; and his sister Rita Sanges of Springfield, IL.

He is survived by: his brother Ray of Gainesville, VA; his children, William Jr. of Bluemont, VA and Julie of Knoxville, TN; his stepchildren, Carl Bell of Norfolk, VA, Michael Bell of Richmond, VA and Liz Schiavone of Herndon, VA.; and his sister Jeannine Nelson of Macon, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
