He is survived by: his wife Sudarshan Kapur Goel of America's Hindi; his children, Nita Goel Popli (Krishan Popli) and Vivek Goel (Anita Babbar-Goel); and his grandchildren, Dr. Karishma, Nikhil, Abhishek and Anjali. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Even as he faced the challenges of the pandemic and illness in recent years, his spirit remained indomitable.
