He is survived by: his wife Susan Corrine Briese; his daughter Taylor Chaumont Briese; his stepmother Eileen Briese; his sisters, Debbie and Denise Briese; his uncle Bob; and his aunt Sue Briese. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children's Incorporated (PO Box 72848, North Chesterfield, VA 23235) in memory of Steven Briese and to continue his sponsorship of a child. Donations may also be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at Make a Difference.
