She was predeceased by: her parents, James Milton Watkins, Jr. and Jennie Mary Volk Watkins; and her close friend William Hoyle (Billy). She is survived by: her close friend Darnell Braxton; her sister Brenda W. G. Fox; her nephew Ryan B. Fox (Vicky Hu); her niece Sharon C. Fox (Keisuke); her great-nephews, Derek J. Fox and Orion W. Fox; and her great-niece Dilynn H. Fox.
