He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Audrey D. Walkington and Douglas H. Walkington; his wife Meredith M. Walkington; and his stepdaughters, Alison A. Senold and Jennefer I. Senold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Parkinson's Foundation.
