He is survived by: his wife Asha L. Swain, MD; his children, Tooshar Swain (Christine) of Arlington, VA, Devjanee Swain Lenz and Joyprada Swain Baker (John) of Falls Church, VA; and his grandchildren, Ellora, Avani (Tooshar), Anjali, Anika (Devjanee), Samaira and Ashwin (Joyprada).

In lieu of flowers, the Swain family requests memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of the National Capital Area.
