She was predeceased by: her parents, Stacy Harris Carpenter and Ada Blankenbaker Carpenter; and her husband Charles O. Dodson Jr.. She is survived by: her son Gene Dodson; her grandchildren, Jessica and Andrew; her son Lee Dodson (Kristine); her granddaughter Kate; and her great grandchildren, Nealey, Leah, Nadia and Farrah.
