Jerry D. Reynolds Obituary

We bid farewell to Jerry D. Reynolds (Falls Church, Virginia), born in Merkel, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2024 at the age of 82. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cramer Reynolds and Willie Irene Blair Reynolds; and his brothers, Tommy and Oris. He is survived by: his sons, Joel David of Florida and Jamie Scott (Kimberly) of Georgia; his wife Sherry; his brother Jacky (Jeanie) of Texas; and his grandsons, Austin Reynolds of Louisiana, Cole Reynolds of North Carolina and Luke Reynolds of Georgia.

Finally, in 2018 his fellow chaplains recognized his lifetime contributions to chaplaincy naming him to The Order of Saint Martin of Tours and then he was named to the advisory council of the Marsh Chaplaincy Center created to provide chaplains professional training and encouragement.
