He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Hermilo Mendoza and Maria J. Mendoza (Perez); his siblings, Hermilo Mendoza Jr., Joseph Mendoza, Christina Bell, Graciela Mendoza and Carmen Haddox; and his half-sister Magdalena Marquez (Nena).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nancy Mendoza. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
