She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Dewey Weaver and Margaret Weaver; and her sister Hazel Reedy. She is survived by: her daughter Bettina Thomas; her husband Lester Newhouse; her sisters, Mary Hodges, Carol Porterfield, Colleen Richardson and Ruth Waller; her daughter Tina; and her son-in-law Barry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
