He is survived by: his wife Abeba Abraha; his children, Hirut, Fana, Yared, Samuel and Tsion; his grandchildren, Aden, Abdoulghani, Ibraheme, Ismael, Maaryam, Zema and Kidus; his great grandchildren, Habeebo, Hebah and Salwa; and his siblings, Tadelech, Feteha Negest, Fikre Mariam, Almaz, Woubitu, Nardos, Elias, Eleni, Ermias, Feseha, Zewdu and Eyob. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
