He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan O. Friel and Grace R. Friel of Falling Spring; and his siblings, Glen Preston Friel and Linda Stewart Barnett. He is survived by: his brother Allen R. Friel; and his close friend Barbara Pressley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
