She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hodges and May Hodges; her husband Robert Morris Hutchison; her sisters, Peggy Shilling and Anne Teschendorf; and her nephew Andy Oliver.
She is survived by: her daughter Janis Kirkland; her son-in-law Dr. C. Stokes Kirkland, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kristin Shepherd (Peter) and Dr. David Kirkland (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Isabel Shepherd, Madeline Kirkland and Tucker Kirkland; her nieces, Laura Woodbury (Parris) and Karen Teschendorf (Jim); her nephew Don Oliver (Andy); and also Kristin Oliver.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Fairlawn, VA 24141).
