It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Farmer Childress (Fairlawn, Virginia), born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Charlie Childress; her parents, H. R. Farmer and Edith Farmer; and her siblings, Shirley Meador and H. R. Farmer, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Terry Edwards (Steve), Mark Childress (Susan Byrd), William Childress and Melinda Mannon (Tim); her grandchildren, Jami Massjouni, John Edwards, Season Childress, Whitney Jackson, Gage, Parker Mannon and Sarah Chrisley; her sisters, Betty Radford and Linda Hall; and also June Hollandsworth.
