She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Kegley and Lettie Kegley; her husband John Kenneth McGuire; her son Thomas Elbert McGuire; and her siblings, Clyde, Thelma and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Thompson (Chet), John McGuire, Jr. (Terry), Diane Shane of Fairlawn and Wanda James of Roanoke; and her brother Paul Kegley of Roanoke. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
