He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Key and Gladys Wood Key. He is survived by: his wife Pam Campbell Key of Covington; his son Ronnie; his daughter-in-law Wendy Poague of Covington; his daughter Terrie; his son-in-law C. E. Vass of Buchanan; his grandchildren, Taylor Poague, Colton Poague, Brian Vass, Chuck Vass (Sharon), Megan Carr (Shane) and Ethan Vass; his great grandchildren, Makayla Carr, Micah Carr, Maribeth Carr and Noah Vass; his brother Carl "Sonny"; his sister-in-law Patricia Key of Ohio; and his nephews, Craig Key (Jennie) and Eric Key (Sharon).
The family suggests that memorial donations in Berkley's name be made to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church; 900 North Alleghany Ave.; Covington, VA 24426.
