It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Nester McMullin of Fairlawn, Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clyde Nester and Ethel Craig Nester; and her siblings, Arnold, Roger Nester (Drema), Melissa "Margie" Sinnes (Jack) and Jean Semones.
She is survived by: her husband John William McMullin, Jr.; her grandchildren, Candace Lamb (Jon), Ashley Jean, B. J. Munsey (D. D.), Leslie Youngs (Corey), Tracey Collom, Jr. (Cindy Waters), Sam Walker (DeAnn), Toni Walker and Kyle Walker; her siblings, Kenneth Nester (Debbie) and Edwina "Bunny" Gulbronson (Tom); and her brother-in-law Jessie Semones. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church.
