It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H. McAllister III of Fairfax, Virginia, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy T. McAllister and William H. McAllister Jr.; his siblings, Margaret and Michael; his wife Polly F. McAllister; and his sons, William H. IV (Kathryn), Christopher F. (Leah), Jonathan T. (Karen) and Benjamin J. (Eliza). He was also cherished by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Habitat for Humanity.
