He is survived by: his wife Achilina Baranga; his daughter Ioana Baranga; and his sisters, Paula and Liana.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church (5150 Leesburg Pike, Alexandria, VA 22302). A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Andrew Chapel Cemetery (1308 Trap Rd, Vienna, VA 22182).
