She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Peter Linkowitz; her daughter-in-law Alberta Ellison; her sons, Benjamin and Spencer (Jennifer); her granddaughter Suzanne (Matt); her great grandchild Grace; her grandson John (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Quinlin; her grandson Jim (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Britlin and Benson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Valerie's honor to Easter Seals.
