It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Smith of Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Louis Firebaugh and Ruth Frances Ikenberry. She is survived by: her husband Leland W. Smith, Jr.; her children, Jennifer Smith of Fairfax, Virginia and Kyle Courtnall (Nancy Clark) of Annapolis, Maryland; her grandchildren, Allison Courtnall and Adam Courtnall; her sister Charlotte Holbrook; and her brother-in-law Dale Smith (Debbie) of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
