He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Belle Lemmons Williams and Edward Earl Williams; and his siblings, Alice Jane Williams, Christine Williams Martelle, Kermit Earl Williams and William Wade Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Taylor Williams; his children, Roberta Sue Daniel (Paul) of Herndon, VA, Linda Marie Butler (Kurt) of Mechanicsville, VA, Janice Lynne Coutry (Larry) of Chantilly, VA, Robert Claudius Williams, Jr. (Jill) of Fredericksburg, VA and William Taylor Williams (Ginny) of Gainesville, VA; his grandchildren, Erica, Kyle, Rachel, Brian, Paul, Julia, Kevin, Megan, Bethany, Brandon, Spencer and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Calvin, Chet, Francesca, Mia, Arabella, Evangeline, Viviana, Josie, Benjamin, Owen and Sawyer; and his sister-in-law Gladys Taylor Seney. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Fairfax United Methodist Church Missions Fund.
