With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pauline Peterson of Fairfax, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pauline left this world on October 23, 2024 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Pauline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pauline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Bell Smith and Henry Clay Mullis of Harmony; her husband Carl Raymond Peterson of Worcester; and her siblings, Mary Lucille York, Ola Mae Daniels and Henry Paul Mullis (Freda).
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Peterson Cordes; her granddaughters, Erica Cordes Vacare (Jason) and Natalie Cordes Burgdorf (Eric); and her brother James Charles Mullis (Shelby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Winthrop Friends Church (262 Winthrop Rd, Harmony, NC 28634).
