He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lenwood Kite and Eunice Jane Jenkins Kite; and his sister Frances Pauline Vance. He is survived by: his wife Emogene Robinette Kite; his children, Debby Boyd (Norm) and David Kite (Julie); and his siblings, Sue K. Halterman and Jack Kite (Leda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
