He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cooke and Margaret Cooke; and his siblings, Joe, John, Peggy, Tommy, Edwin and Claire.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gleason Cooke; and his children, Mary Kane (Mark), Eileen Sanders, Paul, Jr. (Sheena), Francis (Angela), Laurie Combs (Christopher), Timothy (Sherry), James and Brian. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
