He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick M. Hayes, Sr. and Mary Hayes (Slabinski); his son Patrick Michael Hayes; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Hayes, Teddy Seeman, Frank Seeman, Bernard Seeman, James Hayes and Catherine Hayes Capozucca.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hayes (Reinhardt); his daughters, Carole Jean Hayes (David Lee) of Greenville and Linda Christine Hayes of Greenville; his brother Joseph Hayes (Judy Hayes) of Wilkes-Barre, PA; his sisters-in-law, Jean Sharp and Carol Meyer; his sons, Robert "Bob" Dillon, Wayne Coffey, Charles Bowers, Jr., Stanley Naudus, David Koch, Jerry Cantrell and Walter Slabinski; his godson Tab Lantz; and his nephews, Jeff Dillon, Greg Dillon (Roxanne) and Chris Dillon (Rachael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
