He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia. He is survived by: his mother Valerie Linkowitz; his wife Alberta Ellison; his stepsons, Benjamin and Spencer (Jennifer); his daughter Suzanne (Matt); his granddaughter Grace; his son John (Jamie); his grandchildren, Olivia and Quinlin; his son Jim (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Britlin and Benson. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-laws and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Nick's honor to the Burke Volunteer Fire Department.
