It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lionel Morris Griffis (Fairfax, Virginia), who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Griffis and Bertha Griffis of Van; his grandson Zachary Aaron Kresslein; and his brothers-in-law, John and Paul Mitchem.

He is survived by: his daughter Kimberli Kresslein (Michael); his grandchildren, Xavier and Katarina Kresslein; and his sisters-in-law, Mickie Lavis, Rachel Bowman, Ruby Gill and Sherri Mitchem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Fairfax Baptist Church, 10830 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030.
