“I am so saddened by the loss of our friend and cycling pal Lee! I have known Lee for more than 20 years, and have enjoyed so many wonderful conversations, stories, and bike rides with him! I know how much he loved his family and enjoyed helping out with his grandchild, also looking forward to the birth of the next one. Besides all the different events that we did together, we also enjoyed the brewery rides and socializing afterward! Lee was such a nice man! We will all miss him! Rest in Peace!”

“I did not know Lee personally and only rode with him once or twice but I am hearing stories about him that he was the real deal: He was a strong cyclist and ride leader who always made sure that everyone returned from his rides safely and that no one was left behind. He was always the most caring and friendly ride leader, likely because it reflected his personality so well. I have ridden the Backroads Century, Great Pumpkin Rides, Brewery Rides, PPTC Picnic rides, as well as random meet ups on the W&OD Trail with Lee. He never failed to bring a smile to my face. I will miss him immensely. May he rest in peace.”
