He was predeceased by: his parents, Trustee Henry Parker Greene and Deaconess Lucretia Elizabeth Greene; his sister Vanessa Greene; and his grandparents, Frederick, Laura Greene and Marie Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Bennye Hatfield Greene; his sons, Marlin Greene of Roanoke, VA, Christopher Woodson of Fredericksburg, VA, Larry Woodson of Winchester, VA, Michael (April) and Shawn Woodson of Plains, VA; his stepson Nicholas Hatfield of Leesburg, VA; his siblings, Leo Davis, Gerald Davis, Fred Greene, Sharon (Alexander), Brown of Laurinburg, NC and Franchester Greene; and his aunt Laura West. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greene Family Cemetery (5514 Hope Park Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030). A reception will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
