It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Christopher LaPenna of Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Anthony LaPenna Jr.; his grandparents, Loretta, Joseph Santillo, Anthony and Carmela LaPenna; and his nephew Abdullah (Mark).
He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony, Jay, Matthew, Christopher, Lisa (Chris), Danielle (Billy) and Noel (Eric); and his nieces and nephews, Anthony Notaro, Allie Notaro, Brendan LaPenna (Talore), Cassidy LaPenna, Anthony Jensen, Daniel Jensen, Robert Jensen (Susie), Connor O'Malley, Ryan O'Malley, Kaitlin O'Malley, Claudia Bickers and Oliver Mills.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Demaine Funeral Home (10565 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030).
