She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Uber and William Uber; her husband Thomas P. McKavitt, Sr.; her brother William F. Uber, Jr.; her sister-in-law Virginia Uber; and her nephew William F. X. Uber.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas P. McKavitt, Jr., Kathleen A. Thiringer (Peter) of Vienna, VA and Mary Ann H; her grandchildren, Pat (Emily), Erin (Tom), Sean (Meaghan), Melissa, Steve, Joe, Helen and Drew; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Molly, James, Maggie and Kara; and her nieces, Jenny Kincaid, Liz Rankin and Cate Racek.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or The Humane Society.
